What is your role within the SRG Group and how long have you worked for the company?   Garment technologist, 6 years.

Who’s influenced your career most?   Me, sometimes for the good and sometimes for the bad!

What’s the best piece of advice you could give someone?   Always trust your own judgement.

What’s the most enjoyable part of your job.   Working on the varied product areas and not just one type of product, this makes it a lot more interesting and you’re always learning something new!

What’s on your desk?   My desk top buddy, made by the lovely Bonita!!

What’s your favourite holiday destination?  Now there’s a question!!!  Rio,  South of France,  Robin Hood’s Bay!

What car do you drive?  It’s an Italian classic car….  An old Fiat Punto!!

What are you passionate about?   Family, travel, food, gardening, having a beer with friends!

Who’s your business or personal hero/heroine?   Sir Alex Ferguson

What would be your perfect day away from work?   With the family, on a sunny day, on a beach, with a picnic!  Or at the allotment!

What’s your greatest personal achievement?   Never really thought about it, just enjoying life sometimes you can forget how to do it!

What’s your favourite gadget?  My phone

What’s your favourite quote or motto?  “Sursum” (Latin for upwards), Old school motto!

What would you choose as your last meal?  Starter – Mussels,  Main – Fillet steak with peppercorn sauce and chips,  Dessert – Crème brûlée

What’s your favourite pastime/relaxation activity?  I have an allotment, which is my sanctuary.

What’s your favourite music/musician?  “The Alarm”

What’s the thing you hate the most?  Rude people

What did you want to be as a child?  An Electrician

What can’t you live without?  Laughter

Name one person you’d like to have dinner with (and why)?  Rick Stein, great fish chef, who has travelled the world!

What’s in your briefcase/handbag?   I do not own one!

What’s the best thing about your job?   The people

If you weren’t in your current role, what would you be doing?   Running a beach bar, selling cold beer and mussels!
